Required Fields Warning

By default, POSify will only request that a required field is filled in when the user is adding product/cart customizations: App required fields

The Show required fields warning setting will display a warning to the user when there are required cart or product fields that are missing data. These warnings are displayed on the POSify POS app tile, and in the POSify POS app: Show required fields warning setting

POSify POS app tile​

With the Show required fields warning setting enabled, the app tile will be highlighted in blue when:

  • There is a required cart field that is missing data
  • A product has been added to the cart that has a required field that is missing data

The badge in the corner of the app tile displays the number of missing required fields.

When the required data has been added to the cart/products, the warning will be removed:

POSify POS app​

With the Show required fields warning setting enabled, the following warnings are displayed within the POSify POS app:

  • The 'Add cart information' button turns blue, and contains the word (Required)
  • The Cart products tab is automatically selected, and a badge appears under any products that have missing required fields
