Thank you for using POSify, a product developed by 21Orange. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you install or use POSify in connection with your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect​

When you install and use POSify, we collect and store the following information:

  • Store Information: Store name.
  • Shopify API Data: Data related to your store’s products, orders, POS locations, and staff (as required to operate the app).
  • App Usage Data: How the app is used, such as feature interactions, to improve performance and support.
  • Custom Field Data: Any content or data you create using POSify (e.g. custom fields attached to POS orders or products).

We do not collect customer credit card information or any sensitive personal data beyond what is authorized via Shopify’s API.

2. How We Use Your Information​

We use the collected information strictly for:

  • Delivering and maintaining POSify functionality
  • Ensuring customers are on the correct pricing plan
  • Supporting customer service and troubleshooting
  • Improving app performance and adding new features
  • Monitoring compliance with Shopify’s platform policies

We will never sell, rent, or share your store’s data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Data Access and Storage​

All access to your Shopify store’s data is done via Shopify’s secure OAuth and API infrastructure.

  • Data Location: We do not collect, handle or store any confidential customer data, such as billing credentials or individual customer records.
  • Data Location: Your data will be stored on secure servers located in the United States.
  • Data Retention: We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service. Upon app uninstallation, any store-specific data is automatically deleted.

4. Sharing of Information​

We do not share your data with any third parties, except:

  • When required by law or legal process
  • To comply with Shopify’s platform requirements
  • With trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate our infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting)

All third-party services are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

5. Your Rights​

As a merchant using POSify, you have the right to:

  • Request access to or deletion of your store’s data
  • Revoke access to the app at any time by uninstalling it via the Shopify admin
  • Contact us regarding any privacy-related concern
