Customizing carts/orders in POS

After creating your cart customization fields, you can begin customizing carts/products with POSify, within Shopify POS.

Ensure that you've correctly setup POSify in Shopify POS.

The following methods can be used to customize carts/orders with POSify:

1. POS smart grid tile

Click the POSify POS tile, click the 'Add cart information' button, enter the custom information and add it to the cart

2. Order details menu

Select an order in the POS orders menu, click the 'Add Customizations' button in the action menu, enter the custom information and save the order

This will only work for orders less than 60 days old

Adding customizations

After clicking the Add cart information button, you can begin filling in your pre-defined customization fields: POS order menu

Click Add to cart - the customization values can then be seen as additional details in the cart: POS app values

Accessing the values

The value of each field is stored as an additional detail on the order in Shopify. These can be seen in both the POS app, and in Shopify Admin:
